Digital Impact: Meet Consumer Expectations and Grow Your Business Seminar

Naumi Haque, Strategy & Insights Manager at Google Canada, who spoke at the 2017 CHHMA Spring Conference & AGM, conducted a repeat of his conference presentation to a group of CHHMA and COPA members on May 3, 2017 at the Centre for Health & Safety Innovation in Mississauga.

The seminar presented some great consumer and shopping behaviour research data (mostly Canadian-based) from Ipsos as well as from Google’s own internal studies which was also primarily Canadian-based too.

Mr. Haque discussed how shopping in today’s omni-channel shopping world has become more varied and complex and what it takes to successfully engage your consumers to drive more sales.

The presentation touched upon the changing nature of the flyer, what is influencing consumers during the shopping experience, the tremendous growth in mobile shopping and some of the search tools that can be used to improve your online visibility, reach more people and/or target certain consumers and ultimately increase your in-store and online business.

Naumi answered a number of questions from attendees during and after the presentation and we would like to thank him once again for taking the time to talk to our members.
