Seminar: Critical Strategies for Winning in Ecommerce and Real Time Retail

CHHMA members in attendance at September 20's seminar on “Critical Strategies for Winning in E-Commerce and Real Time Retail” were treated to an excellent presentation by Hannah Donoghue of RetailNet Group (RNG).

Attendees were impressed by the data and expertise on the subject matter discussed by Hannah who covered some of the latest statistics, developments, innovations and forecasts in the ever-changing e-commerce/digital world.

The seminar touched upon the key drivers of change in today’s “real-time” retail/digital marketplace and how companies/brands can influence/engage consumers to drive sales for their products.

The presentation discussed how traditional retailers are changing and reacting to the new online players and where the innovative customers are investing and incorporating new technologies to better serve consumers.

Hannah also showed how the paths to purchase are becoming much more complex and many more options available now and coming in the near-future so vendors need to get a handle on the economics of their supply chain models/real-time logistics and ways of delivering their product to today’s customers and end-consumers.

Attendees certainly left the session with some important things to think about for their various operations.

We would like to thank Hannah for her presentation and we would recommend that for those who have not participated in past seminars or webinars from RNG that you consider doing so at future opportunities as their up to date information, knowledge and projections for the retail and digital marketplace could be very beneficial to your marketing/sales plans and businesses.  Technology is changing fast and you do not want to be left behind!
