The 2016 CHHMA Spring Conference & 47th Annual General Meeting was held On April 12th at the International Centre Conference Facility in Mississauga.
Once again, it was a day of valuable education and networking for those in attendance.
During the Conference Luncheon, three worthy industry veterans were also inducted into the Hardware & Housewares Industry Hall of Fame: Mr. Bill Calisina, retired, Vice President & General Manager of Bissell Canada; Mr. James Mumby, retired, former President & CEO of Dynamic Paint Products; and Ms. Laurie O’Halloran Founder, Publisher/Editor of Home Style Magazine.

If you were unable to attend February 25th's joint CHHMA-COPA “Transportation Trends for E-Commerce” seminar, than you missed out on some key insights into the growing e-commerce market and some of the newest ways companies are cost effectively delivering online purchases to consumers.
The information session was organized by Canpar Courier and was held on February 25th at the Centre for Health & Safety Innovation (CHSI) in Mississauga.
Several presenters were on hand to provide their knowledge and expertise on selling online and ways to deliver those orders to customers.

On Februry 16, 2016 members from the CHHMA and Canadian Office Products Association (COPA) took advantage of a free morning of financial/wealth management presentations at the International Centre Conference Facility in Mississauga - the latest joint-seminar put on by both associations.
The event was sponsored by TD Wealth and organized by Geoff Kidder, Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor at TD Wealth and also investment advisor to the CHHMA.
Seven experts were on hand from TD Wealth, TD Commercial Banking, Connor, Clark & Lunn (CC&L) Funds Inc., Fidelity Investments and Scotiabank Global Banking and covered several important topics.
