With spring now in the air, CHHMA members bid a final farewell to winter as they took to the ice in the CHHMA's first Curling Night on Tuesday, April 12th.

Six teams gathered at the Weston Golf and Country Club in Toronto and enjoyed an outstanding buffet dinner prior to donning their brooms and sliders. Curlers were given a lesson covering the basics of curling by one of Weston's curling professionals, followed by a brief warm-up; then the games began, featuring some friendly competition and lots of laughs.

At evening's end, all participants left with a prize and were already looking forward to next year's event.
